Resources

I'm including a list of websites that I love to use. They have been around for years, and I do find them truly useful:

Weekly Themes:

DLTK Kids
First School
Coloring Pages
Perpetual Preschool

These other sites are paid sites: (They are the only sites I have actually subscribed to, and I did find them worth the money.)

Early Childhood Printables - This one is great for preschool printables. They have a ton of free printables - a daily free printable, free worksheet and free craft idea. They also have an entire page of free printables but you do have to search a bit for it on their site.

Enchanted Learning - This site has some great art ideas (which you don't need the subscription for). The only reason to get the subscription is if you would like to be able to print out the worksheets (which are awesome) The worksheets are more for ages 6-12.

Nutrition:

USDA MyPlate Great site for nutrition tips.

Harvest of the Month This is the site I based my "Harvest of the Week" idea off of. They have some great resources and information about different produce items, and some healthy recipes.

Recipes:

All Recipes Love this site! You can register for free (although they do have a paid option). The free registration allows you to create your own recipe box, so you can save your favorite recipes. The recipe reviews are also great to read through, as they sometimes give you tips for making the recipes turn out better. I also love the fact that you can "search by ingredient" which allows you to put in a list of items from your pantry and it will match it with a recipe using those ingredients.

Taste of Home Homestyle recipes. I used to subscribe to their magazine (which I loved!) All of their recipes including all of the recipes from their back issues are online. It also allows you to search by ingredient which is great!
